JSTOR The JSTOR (Journal STORage) project is a digital archive of core journals in various fields. As opposed to most electronic journal services which contain only the last few years, JSTOR contains the entire runs of these journals, from the first volume up to the volumes published only a few years ago. JSTOR deliberately does not have the most recent volumes of the journals in order to protect the publishers current revenues. Each journal has a "moving wall" of 3-5 years after which the current issues are added to JSTOR.

    Jan. 2006: Oxford University Press has announced the digital archiving of back issues of their journals. The archives contain the content of each journal from Volume 1, Issue 1 until the end of 1995.
    Rashut/HUJI have purchased the Oxford science, medicine and social sciences archives, as of Nov. 2006.
  2. The London Mathematical Society Electronic Archive
    The London Mathematical Society journals will be published by Oxford University Press from January 2007.
    Electronic archive dating back to 1865!
    From January 2007, subscribers with a current print plus online or online-only subscription to the three LMS journals will have access to the complete electronic archive of papers, dating back as far as 1865. In addition to the existing electronic volumes, dating back to 1998 and containing about 40,000 pages in total, a further 180,000 pages of historic, high-quality research will be available.

New Oxford Journals have announced the purchase of four mathematics journals from Hindawi Publishing Corporation:
International Mathematics Research Notices; International Mathematics Research Papers; Applied Mathematics Research Express; and International Mathematics Research Surveys.
The titles immediately join the Oxford Journals mathematics list.
Access to the full archive of the IMRN dating back to 1991 will be available online.

New The London Mathematical Society has announced the publication of a new journal: Journal of Topology
Journal of Topology is an alternative to Elsevier's Topology:
All the editors of Topology resigned, in protest over the pricing policies of the publisher Elsevier.
They started a new periodical called "Journal of Topology", to be published in 2008 by the London Mathematical Society (printed and distributed by Oxford University Press).

Dissertations & Theses 1861- This WWW-accessible service includes the entire Dissertation Abstracts database (1861 to date, 1.5 million dissertations). Most dissertations after 1997 are available in digital format (PDF) and for these the initial pages of the dissertation are displayed in fulltext.
From the search results it is possible to place an order for a dissertation itself in various formats (including PDF) via a "shopping cart" option. This, of course, requires special payment.
ABI/INFORM 1971- (abstracts)
1987- (full text) 		ABI/INFORM is a database covering business, management, economics and a wide range of related fields (including some computer science).
The database contains content from thousands of journal abstracts or full text.
Proquest central
a database covering arts, business, education, health, humanities, international law, military, psychology, sciences, social sciences, and women's studies (includes some computer science).

When you use ProQuest, you are searching databases of articles. This is not an electronic journal provider in the usual sense. The advantage of this service is the ability to search for articles and receive the results in fulltext.

As opposed to most electronic journal providers, the articles are not in the same format as the print article.
