"Differentiability and exceptional sets in Banach spaces"

Abstract:
The talk will discuss the question of existence of derivatives of Banach space-valued Lipschitz functions. My aim is to give general background and to discuss recent developments (including open problems).A central role in this discussion is played by various classes of interesting exceptional sets.
